Maybe is usefull to add a chapter to iniciate people in the development of freeplane (help I don't understand what is "apply java to have the best of customizing FP".We need to add a chapter about writting addons (help needed).We need to write a title about the resources (main addons list, main and additional freeplane websites) as sfpcom said, perhaps included in the first chapter, Mind Maps. I will do this reading the topics of this discussion forum (Its a hard work). I need to search the new features not included in the old manual as markdown in nodes and the map overview (and many others).
I don't write good english so corrections are needed.This next weeks I will fill in the gaps with the information of my spanish old manual. I've uploaded all files to It is an starting point.
